1: SAY HI
Fill out our enquiry from and we will get in touch to talk through our availability. Our shoot days are Thursday, Fri & Sat (one Sunday a month) with options for sunrise, sunset & at home sessions.
2: SELECT YOUR DATE AND PACKAGE
Select your date and package - Golden Moments, Golden Moments Mini or Bump to Baby".
3: PAY for YOUR DEPOSIT
Secure your session by paying your $300 deposit. Our creative session fee covers our shoot time, our session planning time and communication leading up to your session.
4: YOUR DETAILS
You will be given access to your client portal. This is where we'll get to know you better through our questionnaire and you'll sign your contract.
5: SESSION PLANNING
You will then receive a detailed email from us which includes our session guide and all the info needed to plan an awesome session together and answer any questions you may have. We will be in communication - chatting through locations and outfits.
6: PAY YOUR SESSION FEE
Your final session fee is due 14 days before your session date.
7: SHOOT DAY
The most exciting part! We will have an amazing and fun session together! We'll be in contact 24 hours before to confirm where to meet.
8: GALLERY DAY
Your beautiful gallery will be ready 2-3 weeks after your session. Jess will be in contact when we have it all ready for you. Enjoy the beautiful memories you have captured forever!

It’s never too early to book. We recommend booking as soon as possible to avoid missing out.

We recommend booking your maternity session anywhere from 30-36 weeks. It does depend on each individual and how they're feeling.

2-8 weeks! We understand how overwhelming newborn days can be, we can be flexible with timing. We recommend you emailing when you are pregnant so we can slot you in.
If you have booked our fresh 48 new born or bump to baby package we recommend letting us know when bub is born to organise a date for your session asap. Just let us know if you prefer your session at home or at one of our outdoor locations.

If you have selected an outdoor session we work around the sun! Either sunrise or sunset.
At home sessions we can be more flexible. Let us know your preference when filling out our booking form.

We will reschedule your session. If it is a beach session and the wind is not right for the beach on that day then we will move location to somewhere less windy.

Our galleries usually include around 60-80 high resolution images. We don’t like to limit the amount of images you receive.

When booking you will receive a session guide with lots of helpful advice.
We suggest neutrals, soft, flowy/ linen, chunky knit, denim textures as we feel they suit the location best and create a timeless feel in the photos. It is important to feel comfortable and confident in what you are wearing, what you feel most ‘you’ in. We encourage you to not get too caught up in the perfect outfit, just what ever feels good!
We also recommend wearing a bralette set/ swimmers that can worn to capture bare bump. We can recommend some wonderful brands if you are looking for a suggestion.
In winter always make sure the little ones are rugged up as it can get cold. We love all the knits and different textures.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE DAY
On the day of your photoshoot you’ll be greeted with a calm, relaxed atmosphere designed to keep your family comfortable and natural.
Whether we’re meeting at a local beach or at home, arrive or be ready a few minutes early so we can go over any final details, settle everyone in, and pick the best light and locations. We work gently and patiently encouraging simple, real moments rather than stiff poses..so expect a mix of candid interaction, soft-guided posing, and time to soothe or feed babies as needed. Sessions are flexible to accommodate breaks, nappy changes, and quiet moments with newborns or toddlers.
We’ll guide you through wardrobe and positioning with clear, simple direction to create flattering, timeless images. For outdoor shoots we’ll follow the light - moving to shaded spots or different angles as needed - and for in-home sessions we’ll make small adjustments to lighting and backgrounds. We bring experience with families and newborns, so please bring any comfort items (wraps, favorite toys, a change of clothes) and allow extra time for feeding or settling.
